Die britischen Underground-Helden Crippled Black Phoenix sind hierzulande längst keine Unbekannten mehr. Durch intensives Touren und die Veröffentlichung ihres letzten Werks "I, Vigilnte" konnten die Briten mit ihrem Mix aus Post Rock, Folk- und Progressive Rock immer mehr neue Fans hinzugewinnen. Aufgenommen wurde "(Mankind) The Crafty Ape" in den berühmten Chapel Studios im tiefsten Lincolnshire. Dieses neue Werk stellt im Bezug auf Songwriting und Soundqualität einen positiven Wendepunkt in der Karriere von Crippled Black Phoenix dar. Ein neues Meisterwerk, welches der Band eine neue und größere Hörerschaft bescheren wird.
